This position will be responsible for assisting in post-award activities within the grants management lifecycle using knowledge of grant and contract management rules and regulations, technical expertise, and analytical skills.
This position reports directly to the Post-Award Director.
The Grants Management Specialist (GMS) II will help facilitate budget modifications, wage allocations, NCEs, and other post-award tasks as required by federal funding agencies.
This is a high-production deadline-oriented role and supports the overall grants management team as a collaborative partner in the execution of all federal grant funding at the Osage Nation.
The GMS II will also aim to update and oversee the grants management system and be a liaison/support to all departments that administer non-Tribally funded projects/programs.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized and methodical in completing daily tasks.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or accounting-related field preferred Experience with grants, project management, account maintenance, and compliance preferred Ability to perform grant accounting, reconciliations, grant administration, budgeting, and/or financial analysis Must be able to maintain a broad network of internal working relationships Must have the ability to interpret funder-specific post-award guidelines Should have up-to-date knowledge and familiarity of applicable regulations/laws and funder guidelines, including but not limited to 2 CFR 200:
Uniform administrative requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements for federal awards Intermediate or above Excel skills Must complete work tasks with a sense of urgency eCivis experience preferred Must work independently while also being an effective team member Must possess the ability to work on several projects simultaneously and efficiently Needs to be highly organized and self-motivation; and, work well under pressure Requires a high-level of personal integrity and ethics Must maintain confidentiality at all times Requires a high-level of problem-solving skills Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conference and training sessions Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs Requires good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills Must be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
